Who all are eligible for Twitter Verified Badge:
To Qualify for Twitter Verification you need to meet the following requirement Criteria.
- Government.
- Companies, brands and Organizations.
- News organizations and journalists
- Entertainment.
- Sports and gaming.
- Activists, organizers, and other influential individuals.
How to Apply for Twitter Verification ?
Twitter said they have rolled out the application yesterday and don’t worry if you haven’t received it, you will receive in few weeks.
Here’s how you can apply :
- Login to your twitter account on twitter app or web.
- Now click on your Profile > Settings > Account.
- Now in Account section you will find verification request option, open it and click on start request.
- Now start filling the form by selecting a category to which you belong to under ‘Tell us who you are’ Option.
- Now verify your identity by providing any one out of three verification methods: 1.Government issued ID (A photo of Govt. issued ID), 2.Official email address (An email with a domain relevant to the category chosen).3. Official Website (An Official website which refers directly to your twitter account).
- That’s all, your application will be sent.
