Microsoft finally introduces Android Apps on Windows 11. After Microsoft announced Android apps are coming to Windows 11 everyone’s pretty much excited and waited to test them. But sadly, it wasn’t available even in Windows Insider and Microsoft even Launched the Stable version of Windows 11.
Today finally Android Apps are out on Windows 11 to Windows Insiders. Microsoft released the First Preview of Android Apps to Insiders in Beta Channel and not in Developer Channel.
Microsoft said the reason behind the Dev channel not getting Android Apps is Dev Channels are now on builds from a new development cycle that isn’t matched to what is released to the general public. The Dev Channel will get the Android Apps in the future.
To get Hands on the First preview of Android Apps on Your Windows. You need to meet the following requirements:
- Your PC should run on Windows 11 Insider in Beta Channel (Build 22000.xxxx series builds) and meet the Windows 11 Hardware Requirements.
- You may need to enable virtualization for your PC’s BIOS/UEFI.
- Your PCs’ region must be set to the U.S.
- You will also need to have a U.S.-based Amazon account to use the Amazon Appstore.
Microsoft has explained how to get through and Install Amazon App Store with complete instructions in a Blog Post. The First Preview of Android Apps for Windows 11 brings a small set of selected apps with only 50 apps in Beta Channel to test.
These 50 Apps include some Popular Games like Lords Mobile, June’s Journey, Coin Master. Reading apps with the likes of Amazon Kindle and Comics. It also includes Kids Content like Khan Academy Kids and Lego Duplo World. Even the Popular app Pinterest is also available.

Windows Subsystem for Android:
To get these Apps to Work on Windows 11, Microsoft introduces a new component called ‘Windows Subsystem for Android™’, which powers the Amazon Appstore and its catalog.
Windows Subsystem includes the Linux kernel and the Android OS based on the AOSP V11. It is available across the full spectrum of Windows processor types includes AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm. To get a Clean and Good experience of Windows for Insider Program. Windows subsystem requires your PCs to meet the Minimum Hardware Requirements.
